Covered Bridges

Pittsburg has three covered bridges. One bridge spans the Connecticut River and two over Perry Stream.

The Bacon Road Bridge is south of the village of Pittsburg and is no longer in use. It can be seen just as you drive into town. This bridge spans the Connecticut. It is open to foot traffic and the view the river and valley are gorgeous from the bridge.

The Happy Corner Bridge is at the northern end of Hill Road near the Pittsburg Home Center. It spans Perry Stream and is still in use for vehicular traffic.

The River Road Bridge can be found on River Road. It also spans Perry Stream. It is no longer in use but is a landmark to many fly fishermen.
