Pistol Permits

New Hampshire RSA (Revised Statutes Annotated) requires that if a person carries a pistol or revolver (Loaded and concealed) they must have a pistol permit. In Pittsburg this permit is issued by the Chief of Police. To obtain one, an application must be filled out and given to the police chief. A criminal record check is done. If the applicant qualifies then a permit is issued within 14 days of the application. There is a $10.00 fee for the permit and it is good for four years only in the state of New Hampshire. It will expire in 4 years from the anniversary of the applicantís birthday. Non residents must obtain their permit from the New Hampshire State Police.
