Pittsburg Teen Angels

The Teen Angels, under the guidance of their coordinator, will be trained in community service.

The Teen Angels will serve as fund-raising helpers, food delivery service and be trained to work in various jobs. A job bank will be established for the Teen Angels and the Pittsburg Angels will provide the training. As soon as a home base is located and established there will also be after school and week-end activities. Also, there will be a place to do your home work and talk with mentors and other teens.

The Pittsburg Angels are looking for more Teen Angels to join our organization. Teen Angels will be trained in various job tasks and signed up on the Job Bank, they will also learn the benefits of Volunteerism.

There are many benefits of volunteering:

• The satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference in your
  community and in the lives of your neighbors;
• A chance to "give something back";
• An opportunity to meet new people and make new friends;
• Completing one of the requirements for a rounded
  education to add to a college application.
